Family Business History

Nicole's husband grew up lobstering in Portland with his dad, he is now a commercial fisherman in Dutch Harbor, AK. Their fishing heritage started with her father in law. Their oldest son now has his student license and lobsters with her father in law all summer. Everyone has helped grow Rugged Seas. From her mom and in laws helping to ship orders out of our garage during the holidays, to delivering orders to wholesale accounts and picking up bibs at our different drop site locations, we have all worked together to keep the business growing and spread our mission.
