Business Description

We started out as innkeepers with no experience. We have become housekeepers, bartenders, chefs, chauffers, concierge, cook, and handymen. We do a lot of the physical labor ourselves, though we outsource to the local experts too. The Causeway Restaurant is entirely our doing; we remodeled and rebranded and brought on a brilliant chef and made it a dining destination. We are always looking ahead, and would love to do more events, have goats, a sauna, retreats, a community garden, maybe buy a houseboat that guests can rent. We just want to be here, loving this place, expanding thoughtfully, and making more fun for more people in Maine.
