Family Business History
Lon began what is known today as Woodlands Senior Living in 1980 with a 34-resident boarding home in Hallowell, Maine. Their organization has since grown to 12 facilities in seven locations throughout Maine (Farmington, Lewiston, Brewer, Waterville, Rockland, Cape Elizabeth, & Hallowell) caring for more than 500 residents. Woodlands employs no less than 300 fellow Mainers, many of whom have been with them for years, proudly dedicated to providing excellent care and services to residents.
