The Computer Place, Inc. is a full service IT company providing complete technology solutions for small businesses and organizations throughout Maine. Our services include IT support and consulting, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 and cloud services, data backup and recovery, networking, hardware sales, computer service and repair, and long term technology planning. We specialize in serving small businesses and take pride in bringing enterprise level technology, security, and expertise to a market that is often underserved and undervalued by the IT industry. As a small family owned business ourselves, we understand the importance of having an IT partner that is accessible, dependable, and invested in your success. Since 1994, TCP has combined professional business IT services with the personal relationships and accountability of a locally owned company. We also maintain a full service storefront in Lewiston, providing computer sales, service, repair, and support to both businesses and individuals.

Family Business History

The Computer Place, Inc. is a family owned technology company that has been serving communities throughout Maine since 1994. What began as a local computer sales and service business has grown over more than 30 years into a trusted IT partner for hundreds of Maine small businesses, municipalities, and organizations. TCP has always had a particular passion for serving small businesses. We believe small businesses are often an underserved and undervalued part of the IT market, despite being the backbone of the communities in which we all live and work. Our focus is providing those businesses with the same quality of technology, cybersecurity, support, and expertise typically associated with much larger organizations, while keeping the service personal, practical, and accessible. As a small family business ourselves, we understand firsthand the challenges our clients face and take a great deal of pride in helping other Maine businesses succeed. Throughout our growth, TCP has remained locally owned and operated, with a strong emphasis on long term relationships, personal service, and being accountable to the people and communities we serve. Today, President Jon Levesque continues that tradition by leading the company with the same entrepreneurial spirit and relationship focused approach that has defined TCP from the beginning. While technology has changed dramatically since 1994, the foundation of our family business has remained the same: take care of our clients, take care of our employees, stand behind our work, and build relationships intended to last for generations.
