Job purpose
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced financial analyst with expertise in project scheduling and
budgeting, real estate finance and public financing to provide consulting services for our land development
project. The consultant will work closely with our team to analyze financial data, develop project schedules
and budgets, and evaluate and provide guidance on public financing opportunities for the The Yard South
redevelopment project in South Portland, Maine.

Remote with limited in-person meetings
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making for land development
projects. - Create financial models to evaluate the feasibility of land development projects.
- Provide guidance on public financing opportunities and assist with the application process.
- Work with development team, partners, and consultants to develop and maintain budgets for phased
project development. - Review project expenses and identify areas for cost saving controls.
- Collaborate with accounting and tax professionals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Research and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in real estate finance and public
financing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in real estate financial analysis, preferably with public financing
experience. - Strong analytical, problem solving, and modeling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.
- Experience with real estate project scheduling and proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of public financing programs and regulations.
