In this webinar, Rachel Flynn, HR Services Manager, Compliance at KMA, will sit down with Fran DeLuca, attorney at Epstein Becker Green, to clarify some of the more confounding aspects of the ADA’s reasonable accommodation requirements, including how the ADA intersects with other laws, like the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and the PUMP Act. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the concept of reasonable accommodation, and learn how to conduct the interactive process effectively, as well as how to obtain medical information to support a leave request. We’ll touch on best practices for responding to common accommodation requests, including remote work, and how to assess if an accommodation would be an undue hardship for an employer’s business. After the webinar, attendees will be better equipped to manage compliance with the ADA’s requirements and respond to accommodation requests properly. . As always, we’ll save time at the end to answer some of your questions.
Get in touch with us via phone, email, or online contact form, and we’ll be in touch to discuss the ways in which we can work together.
