2025 Wine and Nine Golf Series May 22, 2025

Annual IFOB Women’s Wine and Nine Golf Series (for members and non-members of the IFOB)

Join the IFOB for 6 sessions starting May 22, 2025! This women only series breaks down the fundamentals of the game of golf with a mix of learning and applying the skills on the course in real time! The 8th Annual IFOB Golf Scramble will be open to everyone, members / non-members, male and female on Tuesday, July 15 and is your “final exam” at Nonesuch River Golf Club in Scarborough.  It is included in your Wine & 9 registration and you can choose to do an 18 or 9 hole scramble on the same day with everyone having a BBQ at the end.

We have a new format this year! Players will arrive between 5:00 – 5:20 p.m. we will do a quick check-in and then start playing at 5:30 p.m. There will be three groups: beginner, intermediate and advanced. For the first three weeks the beginner and intermediate will have a short lesson and then hit the course. The advanced group will hit the course right away but are free to jump in for the lesson of the week too! The last three weeks will be all about playing on the course with plenty of time to learn and apply those skills in real time on the greens! Cart and one beer/wine beverage included!

Before we begin each Tuesday night – each participant will check in at the clubhouse by 5 :30 p.m. feel free to arrive earlier and mingle between 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. – we will start playing at 5:30

What’s included:

• 6 weeks “League and Learn” beginner and intermediate will do a short lesson and then hit the course for the rest of the time and the advanced players can go ahead and hit the course right away.
• A cart (2 players per cart)
• 1 beverage
• Scramble entry on July 15 – option for 9 or 18-hole game
• Clubs if needed

July 15, 2025 – 8 a.m. | 10:30 a.m. – 18 or 9 Hole Golf Scramble (included in the Wine and Nine registration)

For your “final exam” we’ll invite the men to join us for a 9 or 18 hole scramble (you decide which one) at the Nonesuch River Golf Club in Scarborough.  We’ll have an early start for the 18 holers and a later one for the 9 holers and then we’ll all meet for a BBQ and prizes at 1 p.m.  Put your skills to the test, enjoy great networking and fun for all!
