2024 Wine and Nine Golf Series May 21, 2024

Annual IFOB Women’s Wine and Nine Golf Series – at a NEW course in 2024!

Join the IFOB for 6 sessions starting May 21, 2024! This women only series breaks down the fundamentals of the game of golf with weekly instructions and tips. The 7th Annual IFOB Golf Scramble will be open to everyone, members / non-members, male and female on Tuesday, July 9 and is your “final exam” at Nonesuch River Golf Club in Scarborough.  It is included in your Wine & 9 and you can choose to do an 18 or 9 hole scramble on the same day with everyone having a BBQ at the end.

• Before we begin each Tuesday night – each participant will check in at the clubhouse by 5 :00 p.m.
• Sessions begin on Tuesday – May 21st
• Each player is entitled to a drink each night.
• Clubs can be provided if needed. 

Week 1 through Week 3 – we will congregate at the practice green area

• Week1 – Putting – grip, stance & stroke technique with a putting team scramble to finish
• Week2 – Putting review & introduction to chipping with a putting and chipping team scramble to finish
• Week3 – Putting & chipping review & introduction to pitching with a pitching, chipping, and putting team scramble to finish

Week 4 through Week 6 – we will congregate at the driving range & golf course playing

• Week4 – Grips, stance & posture with introduction to swing technique ending with team short game scramble
• Week5 – Review Grips, stance & posture continue with swing technique ending with team scramble on the course
• Week6 – Swing technique & Golf course etiquette ending with team scramble on the course
  

July 9 – 8 a.m. | 10:30 a.m. – 18 or 9 Hole Golf Scramble

For your “final exam” we’ll invite the men to join us for a 9 or 18 hole scramble (you decide which one) at the Nonesuch River Golf Club in Scarborough.  We’ll have an early start for the 18 holers and a later one for the 9 holers and then we’ll all meet for a BBQ and prizes at 1 p.m.  Put your skills to the test, enjoy great networking and fun for all!
