"This morning's conference was great!  It was a wide range of participants on the panels and that was a great way to hear a wide view of options and ideas from the panelists!  Kevin Hancock gets my vote for most open, honest and helpful answers to questions. He was outstanding and his thoughts today were very heartfelt and honest.  Take away the layers of "facade" and discuss the truth of what it's like and how you face the issuers."

Legal Lunches with PretiFlaherty

This sessions topic: "People Are People: The Most Challenging Employee Personas and How to Manage Them – presented by Laura Rideout, Partner, PretiFlaherty and Deborah Whitworth, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Owner & CEO, HR Studio Group, LLC".

This session will cover a wide range of topics such as: How do we navigate different personalities or difficult people in the workplace? How do we handle the COVID restrictions as it pertains to personalities in the workplace? How do we handle the legal aspects of documentation, and disciplinary action with individuals if it becomes necessary, without resulting in claims, and when does toxic behavior cross the line into illegal behavior? We will also look at preventive measures, and ways to create the environment we’d like to see in our workplace. Answering these questions will help you answer the bigger question which should be: How do we attract and retain people who like what we have to offer, and fit our culture? If this is the question on your mind, attend our webinar. If this question isn't on your mind, it should be.

The Legal Lunch series is a one-hour discussion with a legal representative from PretiFlaherty and member of a family-owned business. Each session highlights a different and relevant topic where participants learn both the legal side of the topic and the practical implementation in a family-owned business. Participants will be able to hear best practices on each topic and get a deep dive into the discussion!
