"This morning's conference was great!  It was a wide range of participants on the panels and that was a great way to hear a wide view of options and ideas from the panelists!  Kevin Hancock gets my vote for most open, honest and helpful answers to questions. He was outstanding and his thoughts today were very heartfelt and honest.  Take away the layers of "facade" and discuss the truth of what it's like and how you face the issuers."

Next Generation Peer Advisory Groups Cliche Soiree

  • November 07, 2019
  • 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM
  • Husson University, Westbrook

Registration is closed

Come out and learn about the IFOB “Next Gen Affinity Groups” where peer business leaders will facilitate a discussion, and share core values, on their keys to success in business and in life. This discussion will dive further into everything from operations of running your business, to effective ways to motivate and manage people.

We will begin with introductions and then break into smaller groups where attendees will be able to get to know each other better (simulating our Peer Advisory Group meeting). At each table a current “Next Gen” will assist in facilitating a discussion around core values.

Some fun examples of cliché core values are “lead with questions, not answers; collect don’t correct, what gets measured, gets done (you can only expect what you inspect), and creativity before capital, but don’t let a dime hold up a dollar”.

This is our annual Next Gen celebration with all three existing groups and a great opportunity for future members to make new connections,  and learn about the Next Gen Affinity Groups and how they have helped members run their family-owned business. Come share insights and learn more about joining these groups for 2020!

Following the round table discussion there will be plenty of time to network and enjoy some yummy OTTO pizza!

Join these current Next Gens and learn how the Peer Advisory Groups have helped their family businesses! They will be on hand to answer questions and to help facilitate the round table discussion!
