Highland Advisory Group is the M&A advisor specializing in exit planning for business owners to maximize the value of their business, and then capture that value through a wealth creation transaction when the time is right. We take a longer-term and holistic approach focused on aligning the business owner’s personal, wealth, and business goals, and not just competing a transaction. Highland’s Mission is to empower business owners with the tools, resources, and expertise to ensure their successful exit when they want to, at maximum value, and on their terms.

Family Business History

I come from an entrepreneurial and family business family. Tracey Gear & Precision Shaft was started by my grandfather in 1945 out of his garage and my father was CEO and Owner, along with his brothers for many years after his passing. I was just able to advise my father and his brothers on the succession planning and sale to my cousin, the 3rd generation of family ownership. I have started my own family run M&A advisory practice where my wife helps me with the behind the scenes operations where I work to help family-run business owners think about exit planning and eventually find a new owner at maximum valuation when the time is right.
