Business Description

Today we make 32 different wines and each one is unique. While many other wineries use fruit juice concentrates to make their fruit wines, we do not, we use real fruit and make our own fruit juice. Customers will come in and tell us that they never liked wine until they tried dragonfly and now they are hooked. So we fill a pretty large yet relatively untapped nitch. A nitch of people who never really got into wine but still want to drink something casually that isn’t always beer. And that of course tastes really good.

Family Business History

Dragonfly was started in 2004 by Todd and Treena Nadeau, a career military couple. While in the military they were stationed in Germany where they spent a decent amount of time with Winemakers specializing in German Style Reisling. They took what they learned in Germany and brought that knowledge to Central Maine. They started a vineyard and created Dragonfly Farm and Winery.
