At Old Port Specialty Tile Co. our mission is to create an experience in which you can realize the tile design of your dreams. We achieve this by offering a wide array of options combined with exceptional design staff and superior customer service. From initial design to a high quality installation, we are passionate about transforming your project from ordinary to extraordinary.
Family Business History
In April of 2000, Joseph F. Capozza opened Old Port Specialty Tile Co., a division of Capozza Tile Co., with the purpose of bringing a unique collection of specialty tile offerings that include artisan quality ceramics, opulent glass mosaics and an unparalleled variety of natural stone tiles. For the first seven years of our business Old Port Specialty Tile was operated out of the E. Swasey & Crockery Building on Commercial St. at Portland’s waterfront. In December of 2007 we moved to our current location at 59 Middle St., remaining in the Old Port District.* This move allowed us to double our showroom size and display even more of the beautiful products our clients have come to know and love.
