Business Description

We did start an interest in more world cuisine by having each week be a theme of different word food. My family has always, for as long as I can remember been very community service focused. My father was a navy Veteran and worked as a facilities manager for the post office for the rest of his life. He could have worked in the private sector and made millions, but he always thought he should do things for his country. The Cafe is named after him. We have for 21 years given to and volunteered at evey part of our community. We have always supported local business, organizations and people. We donate to our local Soup Kitchen in Belfast. My mother for many years has run a free lunch for seniors, which also includes many holiday meals that are also free, Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas. We donate food and drinks to the Brooks Historical Society, The Marsh River theater as Well as other Community events. I guess our main Value we hold dear is: its not about how much money we can make, its about what difference you can make in the community, and that difference makes for very loyal customers. We started off with the mission of "make a new customer one conversation at a time." my family is very talkative and lets just say you just dont come in to eat.
