The first phase of our new production greenhouse in Pownal spans 55,000 square feet, with plans to expand to 4.7 acres under one roof across four phases. A key innovation is our advanced water management system. We have a 2-million-gallon pond that provides a sustainable water source, and our dedicated water room recycles 120,000 gallons for our flood floors. Three large tanks store clean water and two separate custom fertilizer solutions tailored to specific crops. This closed-loop system reduces waste and conserves resources. Additionally, our hanging baskets are irrigated using the Oasis water-by-weight system, which delivers precise watering based on the basket’s weight to ensure uniform crop quality. We also maintain a 30,000-gallon propane tank for efficient heating, supporting production even in challenging climates. Together, these innovations allow us to produce consistent, high-quality crops while reducing our environmental footprint, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and technological leadership in horticulture.
